Internships

Do you have an interest in event production and want to help us make an impact on our local creative community?

We would love to hear from you!

About Decent

Decent was started in March 2018 with our first event Decent Market, an affordable art fair featuring works under $100 from the best local designers, illustrators, creatives, and makers.

We're a small team of designers, artists, creatives, and event people who are here to make our city a better place for creatives.

This year, we are gearing up for a huge year where we are producing over 15 major events, numerous smaller learning and networking events, and spearheading large new initiatives to improve our community. We are organizing 5 Decent Markets, including our first in New York City, and launching several other brands and concepts, including Deep Ellum Creative Market and West Village First Wednesdays.

Our goals from the beginning have been:

  • To create opportunities for local creatives to make money and improve their craft.
  • To shine a light on the amazing creative talent we have in our city (we are thriving).
  • To change the perception both inside and outside of DFW that Dallas is a world-class city with an extremely healthy creative community.
  • To change the stigma that you have to leave Dallas to be successful as a creative.
  • To get local residents so excited about our creatives that they are constantly engaging with and bragging about them.
